Identificatie van het besturingssysteem
Het identificeren van het besturingssysteem kan worden uitgevoerd met Python of BASIC-taal.
De eigenschap ComputerName is alleen beschikbaar op Windows. Basic-aanroepen van Python-macro's verhelpen deze Collabora Office Basic beperkingen.

In Collabora Office Basic ontbreekt de eigen herkenning van MacOS X. De identificatie van het platform is mogelijk met de Collabora Office Application Programming Interface (API).
