Before you can insert chapter information into a header or footer, you must first set the chapter numbering options for the paragraph style that you want to use for chapter titles.

Pa preparar un estilu de párrafu destináu a ser títulu de capítulu

1. Escueyi la llingüeta Ferramientes - Numberación de títulos - Numberación.

2. In the Level box, select 1.

3. In the Paragraph style box, select the paragraph style that you want to use for chapter titles, for example, Heading 1.

4. Select the numbering scheme for the chapter titles in the Number box, for example, 1,2,3....

5. Type Chapter followed by a space in the Before box.

6. Introduz un espaciu na caxa Dempués.

7. Calca Aceutar.

1. Aplique l'estilu de párrafu que definió nos títulos de los capítulos a les testeres de los capítulos del documentu.

2. Choose Insert - Header and Footer - Header or Insert - Header and Footer - Footer, and then select the page style for the current page from the submenu.

3. Asitie'l cursor na testera, con una pulsación del mur.

4. Escueyi Inxertar - Campos - Más campos y, de siguío, calca na llingüeta Documentu.

5. Click Heading in the Type list, Heading number and contents in the Format list, and 1 in Up to level.

6. Calque Inxertar y de siguío Zarrar.

La testera de cada páxina qu'usa l'estilu de páxina actual amuesa automáticamente el nome y el númberu del capítulu.
