UNO Objects, Functions and Services

Functions, objects and services of Unified Network Objects (UNO).

BasicLibraries Object

CreateUnoStruct Function

Creates an instance of a Uno structure type.

CreateUnoService Function

Instantiates a Uno service with the ProcessServiceManager.

CreateUnoDialog Function

Creates a Basic Uno object that represents a Uno dialog control during Basic runtime.

CreateUnoListener Function

Creates a Listener instance.

CreateUnoValue Function

Returns an object that represents a strictly typed value referring to the Uno type system.

CreateObject Function

Creates a UNO object. On Windows, can also create OLE objects.

This method creates instances of the type that is passed as parameter.

EqualUnoObjects Function

Returns True if the two specified Basic Uno objects represent the same Uno object instance.

CreateUnoService Function

Instantiates a Uno service with the ProcessServiceManager.

DialogLibraries Object

GetDefaultContext Function

Returns the default context of the process service factory, if existent, else returns a null reference.

GetProcessServiceManager Function

Returns the ProcessServiceManager (central Uno ServiceManager).

GlobalScope specifier

To manage personal or shared library containers (Collabora Office Macros or My Macros) from within a document, use the GlobalScope specifier.

HasUnoInterfaces Function

Tests if a Basic Uno object supports certain Uno interfaces.

IsUnoStruct Function

Returns True if the given object is a Uno struct.

StarDesktop object

The StarDesktop object represents Collabora Office application. Some routines or user interface objects such as current window can be used via StarDesktop.

ThisComponent Object

Addresses the active component whose properties can be read and set, and whose methods can be called. ThisComponent is used in Basic, where it represents the current document. Properties and methods available through ThisComponent depend on the document type.
