Choose Table - Size - Minimal Column Width.

Minimal Column Width seeks to find a column width that allows each paragraph in the selected cells to fit exactly as a single line in the cell. This means that column widths are adjusted in relation to the length of the longest paragraph in each of the selected cells. The final result depends on which cells are selected.
Column width includes space for any horizontal cell padding, paragraph padding, and paragraph indents.
If the table width is less than the page width, then under some circumstances the width of the table may be increased in an attempt to fit a cell paragraph onto a single line. Otherwise the command can be useful for reducing the width of tables.
